Collection: Autumn Tea

Autumn brings cold, wind and rain, making warming herbal teas ideal. According to both Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, this is the season to find balance. In Chinese medicine, autumn is associated with the element metal, which affects the lungs and large intestine. Ayurveda considers autumn to be the Vata season, characterised by cold and dryness.

Warming herbs such as ginger and cinnamon help to balance Vata and support your well-being during the changing seasons.

Warming teas such as roasted Oolong, red tea (black tea) and fermented tea (Pu Erh) come from the Camellia Sinensis plant and are ideal for the colder months.

These herbal teas are sold for making a hot drink and are not intended to treat a medical condition. Always consult a doctor if in doubt.
