How To Use?
The “Easy Gong Fu Brewer” consists of 2 parts, namely de plastic brewer (to put in the tea leaves/herbal tea) and the glass decanter (where the tea runs in after pushing the button).
- Fill the brewer with tea leaves/herbal tea
- Fill the brewer with hot water
- Close lid
- If you want to rinse the leaves, press the button, discard the rinse water and repeat step 2
- Let brew
- When it's brewed to your liking, press the button to release and decant the tea
- Pour tea to serve
- Tea leaves/herbal teas are ready for the next infusion
The fine-mesh filter in this brewer is excellent for delivering a super clear drink and keeps the leaves from getting stuck in the water between infusions to prevent stewing and over-infusions. 500ml is the perfect amount for a cup of tea.
How To Clean?
Cleaning is also very easy. Remove the brewing chamber (there is a twist lock) and rinse the brewer and the decanter.

How do you prepare a nice cup of herbal tea correctly?
To use the correct method of preparation, first look at which ingredients are in the tea mixture.
Are they mainly above-ground parts of the herb such as leaves, stems or flowers or are they rather harder pieces of the herb such aspieces of the root or bark ?
- For the above-ground parts such as leaves, stems and flowers it is sufficient to soak them in 95°C water for 10 - 15 minutes.
- For pieces of root or bark, it is better to let them boil for 10 minutes and then strain and drink.
- If you have a mixture of both in your herbal tea, it is best to use 99°C water and let it steep for 15 minutes.
!! TEA AND HERBAL TEA ARE ALWAYS LEFT COVERED SO THAT THE VOLATILE OILS DO NOT FLASH AND ALL THE AROMAS REMAIN IN YOUR CUP!!
These are general guidelines for making herbal tea, you can always adjust them according to your own taste.
If you want it stronger or milder, use more or less herbs and let it steep longer or shorter. You usually use 1 to 2 teaspoons of herb per bag.
